Dr Shahin collaborate closely with implantologists to restore single or full-arch implants and with orthodontists to provide post-treatment cosmetic procedures such as layered composite bonding or minimally invasive, guided prep veneers. Additionally, he manage’s referrals from general dentists, offering solutions for patients with various forms of tooth wear, addressing not only restoration but also occlusal vertical space management.

Dr David Gwyer BDS(hons) MSc Dental Implantology AssocCGDP
Dr David Gwyer graduated from Cardiff University in June 2009. David has worked in both private and NHS practices in South Wales before moving to Ireland in the summer of 2011.
David is an enthusiastic patient dentist, who is focused on providing high quality dental care to all patients in an environment in which they feel totally at ease.
He is interested in all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry and keeps up to date with any advances available in modern dentistry. He is particularly interested in treatment involving crowns, bridges, implants and dentures and the treatment of patients with any dental anxieties.
David has successfully completed an intensive yearlong training programme under renowned implant surgeons Dr Mark Diamond and Dr Pearce Stinson. David continued his education in implantology by reading for a master’s degree in Dental Implantology through the university of Bristol. Under the guidance of internationally acclaimed implant surgeon Jonathon Schofield and his faculty David is at the cutting edge of implant treatmentmand training to use advanced techniques such as digital impression taking, computer guided implant placement and management of failing implants. He is able to restore all types of situations, from single spaces or broken teeth to full mouth cases and “all on 4” type restorations.
As a member of SAAD (society for advancement of anaesthesia in dentistry) David has a rapidly expanding list of nervous patients. David feels that dentistry should be accessible to all patients; no matter anxious or challenging their individual needs are. David is trained to use various types of sedation to cater for different levels of anxiety and is happy to offer this to any patients who feel they need a little more help to have treatment completed.
David is also involved in the training and mentoring of newly qualified and experienced dentists. This highly challenging role helps the newly qualified dentist to apply their skills in a safe and effective manner whilst assessing their competence to perform specific treatments. David has mentored several dentists around the county in achieving their required skills and experience in order to place and restore implants themselves, as well as providing treatment under sedation. In his role as area clinical lead for the Smiles Dental Group David provides support and guidance to over 120 dentists and teams based in 20 practices around the country when they find themselves in difficulty and to help develop the skills of the dentists in the practices.
Recently David has started reading for a 2nd masters degree in Periodontics and Mucogingival Surgery and is available to take on more challenging cases that typically have to be referred to other providers.
David has quickly established an enviable reputation in the area for his excellent work and caring approach to adults and children. He is currently accepting new patients to his list and is able to offer FREE consultations for any of his specialist interest skills.

Pedro began his studies in Venezuela & obtained his degree in dentistry (Santa Maria University 2006, Caracas-Venezuela) He then entered the specialization program in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina. The next 4 years were dedicated to his surgical training in full-time modality. The postgraduate program was hospital based and included rotations in General Surgery, Internal medicine, Anaesthesiology, Head & Neck Surgery, and Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. Pedro then returned to Venezuela and opened CIROMAX (Clinica Integral Rehabilitation Oral Maxilofacial) for the care and rehabilitation of patients with maxillofacial disorders. He also founded a non-profit organization for the care of patients with cleft lip and palate, FUNDARISA VENEZUALA. At the same time, Pedro worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral Surgery & Pathology at Manta Maria University. Pedro migrated to Europe and moved to Portugal where he was accredited at Fernando Pessoa University in Portugal where he obtained his Master’s Degree in Dental Medicine, where he dedicated the last few years of his career to oral Surgery, Implantology & Oral Rehabilitation at Swiss Dental Services, as an OS, Senior Implantologist, trainer & consultant for new dentists in the surgical arena.

Seán qualified from Trinity College in 2004 and has since worked in private practices in Ireland.
He has completed courses in root canal treatment and advanced restorative dentistry in Ireland, Harley Street and the United States. His composite veneers are what makes him stand out from the rest with his artistic flair and the technical skills.
